About
A waitlist tool built by a solo founder, for solo founders
GetWaitly exists because a founder with an idea should be able to start collecting signups the same day — not after a week of setup or a $49/month subscription.
Why I built it
I am Aymane, a solo founder. I kept running into the same wall: validating an idea meant collecting emails, but the tools to do that were built for marketing teams — expensive, bloated, and slow to set up. The cheap options were landing page builders that captured an email and nothing else. No referrals, no broadcasts, no analytics.
So I built the tool I wanted: one place to publish a waitlist, embed a signup form, reward referrals, and email your list before launch — starting free, priced for indie hackers.
The honest timeline
- April 2026
Building begins
I started building GetWaitly after getting frustrated with the existing waitlist tools — too expensive, too complex, or missing the basics.
- July 2026
First version launched
The first public version shipped with an embeddable signup form, referrals, and email broadcasts, built for solo founders on a small budget.
- September 2026
First paying customer
After weeks of quiet, one founder found GetWaitly through search, tested everything, reported bugs, and became the first paying customer.
GetWaitly is early. If that is the kind of product you want to support — and help shape — I would love to have you. Here is what I learned from the first customer.
What we believe
Launch first, optimize later
The publish button is the most important part of the product. Everything else can wait until you are actually collecting signups.
Opinionated over flexible
We make the structural decisions so you don't have to. Pick your branding, write your copy, publish. No blank canvas, no decision paralysis.
Constraints create better outcomes
You cannot build an ugly waitlist with GetWaitly. By limiting the choices, we guarantee every page looks polished and professional.
Support is the product
When you email us, a person answers — often the founder. Early users shape the roadmap, and we ship fixes fast.
