How to Add a Waitlist to Typedream (Widget or Embed)
Add a GetWaitly waitlist to a Typedream site: paste the widget snippet in a Custom Code block, or embed the hosted page URL.
Typedream is a no-code website builder with a Notion-like feel — quick to write, quick to publish. It supports embeds and custom code, so adding a waitlist is a couple of minutes of work.
The short answer
Add an Embed or Custom Code block to your Typedream page and either paste the GetWaitly widget snippet or embed the hosted page URL. Publish, and signups start landing in your dashboard.
Option 1 — Embed the widget
- Copy the snippet from GetWaitly under Settings → Widget:

- Add it to Typedream. Use a Custom Code block where the form should appear and paste both lines.
- Publish and submit a test email. Confirm the subscriber appears in your GetWaitly dashboard.
Option 2 — Embed the hosted page
If custom code is not available on your plan, publish GetWaitly's hosted page and embed the URL instead — no script to run.
- Publish the hosted page at
getwaitly.com/w/your-id. - In Typedream, add an Embed block and paste that URL, or add a button that links to it.
The link option is usually cleaner on mobile.
